can anyone recommend a hair salon/stylist? someone who is good at cut and color (especially with blondes). thanks!!

My friend Lauren just moved to a new salon.  Its called Salon 56 and its in Rancho Penasquitos on Black Mountain Rd.

Prices are reasonable for the San Diego area. A cut and color are $90.

Josie at Jet Rhys was recommended to me by another Nestie and I love her!  I've referred three others to her and they love her as well.  For color, I'd recommend Trisha also at Jet Rhys.

Vita Provenzano at Hairspray Salon in Hillcrest.  She's been doing my hair for 7 years (I'm blonde).  She's seen me through, red, bleach blonde, highlights, low lights, long, short...you name it.

She previously worked at Details Salon in Ocean Beach and I can tell you I have several friends that go to various girls there and any single one of them is fab.  Angela is the best, but the hardest to get an appt with.

I was going to suggest Jet Rhys as well if in the SD area (It's in Hillcrest, from what I remember). I go to a great place up in San Marcos if you're up that way.

I have naturally very blonde hair and I have been going to the same stylist for about 4 years now.  She always does a wonderful job of bringing out my natural color, but making it look so much brighter and shinier.  Her name is Jenny Arce and the salon is Ballyhoo Salon in San Marcos.  I HIGHLY recommend her,  and her prices are very reasonable.
