Hello All
I am fairly new to the nest and am just now visiting the local boards. So I wanted to say hello and get to know the board.
Some info about me:
DH and I moved here (Spartanburg area) about 9 months ago for jobs (straight out of college). Since being here we have bought a house and just tried to meet new people/make friends, which hasn't been too easy. We have tons of different interests and are pretty easy going.We've been trying to find more things to do so we travel to Greenville/Charlotte/Rock Hill on weekends sometimes just to check things out.
Anyway, hi everyone. If you have any tips on the area or places to go for fun or to meet new friends please let me know. Thanks.

Welcome to the area! There are several of us from Greenville, so not too far away!
I've made a few friends on here, but most of the friends we have made in this area are people we've met from church. I know that's not for everyone, but we've made loads of friends there.
Anyway welcome! Start chiming in on our daily questions. I hope you can come to our next get together!

I have to agree with vanessa... the ladies on here are very nice and good to talk to/ hang out with but there aren't an abundance of us like I wish there were...but most of all our friends have been through church or work....
