Poll: Gifts
This might be better suited for the Knot but here goes:
Best Gift, Worst Gift, Random Gift.
I'll start.
Best: Someone bought us our wedding album. Not only outside the box but extremely generous.
Worst: Someone gave up a regifted label maker. I thought it might have been a nod to my love of Seinfeld but I think it was just a poor effort.
?Random: Shoes. Think Clark Griswold from the orignial Vacation movie.??

Best was $10,000.00 Cash
Worst was a CLEARLY regifted set of dishes. The box was water damaged, had the previous wrapping paper attached in one spot and when I opened up the box (thinking the real gift had to be inside) there was a dead cocaroach and silver fish inside along with spiderwebs and dust...
Random: A card with a We-Owe-You...1.5 years later...still nothing. LOL.
Best: The family and friends that offered their services for the wedding. Our photographer and florist were family friends and my parents made a lot of arrangements for the wedding while Justin and I were still overseas (and we had it in their backyard).
Worst: A blender attachment with no blender. We were a bit perplexed at that gift.
Random: I'm sure I received something obscure, but I can't think of anything good right now.
Wow Lets see..
Best: $3000 Check from my Grandparents. Yay for helping me pay off some wedding Debt. ( a close second would be my kitchenaide stand mixer!)
Worst: Ugh.. an obvious re-gift.. or perhaps an extremely clearanced after christmas item. It was a BROWN- ( not a pretty brown) blanket and boots set. No Tags, packaged in newspaper and placed in a big wedding bag.
Random: A dish set from Crate and Barrel... from someone else's registry. The bride and i shared the same name, but her wedding was in 2006! Cmon people.. Two guests actually did this.

MrsSDSU, i too got a lot of waterdamaged boxes. i dont know what people are thinking when they give gifts like that.
Best: Cash and personalized Tiffany flutes from my BMs.
Worst: Nothing. We got every single thing we registered for.
Random: Nothing. We didn't get one item that wasn't on the registry.
Best: My parents footed the bill for the wedding AND they paid for one of my bridesmaids to fly out for the wedding...and she lives in Croatia!
Worst: tacky bride and groom ornament that was broken!
Random: Not really random but not really wedding related. My cousin from Mexico City got us a really cool wooden aztec calendar. I love it!
