I'm so excited that you're having girls, they are so much fun, not that boys aren't but there's something about little girls.

John was very dissapointed when we found out we were having a girl too, he told me after he got over himself, that every guy dreams of teaching their little boy how to throw a baseball, how to cast a line, etc.  he built it up in his mind and I think b/c so many people were convinced we were having a boy his hopes were high and then when the tech said, it's a girl it just shocked him.

He came around pretty quickly and even more so after she was born, she is the apple of his eye now.  So don't worry about Blair, he'll come around, in the meantime enjoy the rest of your pregnancy and the planning and the shopping for pink...although, the amount pink for little girls drove me insane :-)

Re: **Kristi**

  • That is exactly what Blair said.  About playing catch and things like that.  It made me feel really bad.  I think once they are here he will come around.  And I hope he comes around about having one more.
