Anyone watching? 

I have not been watching since the beginning, but I watched it with my mom while she was visiting.  Some of those top 36 were just awful, but some were great!  Favorites??

I love Lil Rounds!! She is definitely my favorite so far!!

Last week I really liked all three that got picked! I can't think of there names now! I am really liking most of the top 12 they have picked so far. I'm not so sure about the wild card people! Hopefully they will have a great Top 12!! You are so right though! Some of the Top 36 were awful!!!

My favorites are Scott, Allison, and Danny in the top 9 and my hope for wildcard pick is Anoop

My favorite is Danny Gokey, by far!  Adam Lambert is my second choice.

I absolutely can't stand the fact they chose Tatiana for the wild card show...I mean, she can't even answer a question, let alone carry on a decent conversation.  It's all for the ratings.

I think Lil Rounds is great!  She already seems miles ahead of the others IMO.

I also like Scott and Jorge out of the ones I've seen.

I haven't been following as closely as I have in the past because non of them really impressed me. I'm still hoping someone will. Some are pretty good and I like a few, unfortunately they didn't make a good enough impression for me to remember names. Most of them are AWFUL. I do wish they hadn't brought back the drama queen but I figured they would...OMG, she is something else...she can sing but who can put up with the theatrics? I like that punky looking guy who reminds me of Elvis...his dark looks...they say he's gay but who cares...he can sing. Maybe I will decide on favorites next time. Rambling...I know.

OMG I can't stand Tatiana - she is the epitomy of DRAMA QUEEN.  Get over yourself.  I would actually like her if her whole act went away, as she can sing.

I liked Kristen last night but no such luck for her.

I like Lil Rounds, Danny, Alexis, Alison....... I'm interested to see what happens in the wild card.

I did like (I think his name is..... Adam?!?!?) the guy who is the broadway star but to me how is that any different professional experience than those who have recorded.  He has an in.  And he's VERY theatrical.  I think he can sing that's for sure but it will be interesting to see what happens in the top 12.

I love this show and So you think you can dance as I used to sing and dance - I'm SO critical of them though, ha.

Is the rule of "no prior records" new this year?  I know a few from past seasons had records prior to the show (Carly Smithson, Kristy Lee Cook, etc) and they made it pretty far.  I don't understand the difference with that girl they replaced this year...I can't remember her name.

Joanna Pacitti ?!?!?!?  Well I know there are stipulations surrounding if you have professional/prior experience but I can't remember what it is.

But here is what they said about it:

The decision was made because Pacitti had once worked with a person subsequently hired by 19 Entertainment, which produces ?American Idol? with FremantleMedia, said another person familiar with the disqualification. Pacitti also knew a second 19 Entertainment employee, the person said.

Pacitti was dropped from the show to avoid any suggestion of unfairness, said the person, who asked that his or her name not be used because the person was not authorized to talk about the dismissal.

I agree about the talent.

I'm trying to get into it but each year it gets tougher and tougher. I have episodes on my dvr from last week!
