okay, i really need to do something fitness-wise. i don't care for leaving the bean at the gym daycare, but i don't have time otherwise to go.
i've heard lots of things about this 30-day shred thing, but i don't really know anything about it. got any feedback for me?

Re: 30-day shred: yes or no?
shut yer piehole, mboc.
20 minute routines? i like that idea a lot. although from the reviews i'm reading, it'll be the longest 20 minutes of my life. heh.
yeah, it's like the 8-minute abs workout (yes, i fell into that trap too). you think, "oh, cool, 8 minutes isn't that bad!"

Where's D? I think she did all 30 days of it. I think AngieEatsPeace also blogged about it.
I did three consecutive days and my knees felt like they belonged on an 80 year old. I've been scared to try it again until I lose at least 10-15 pounds through other forms of exercise first.
I think I only got to about 21 days total, but I didn't ever do more than 4 or 5 days in a row. I agree with Star that it was rough on the knees after a while. Which is why I only did Level 3 once. But I just loved level 1 and 2.
I got great results but I was also working out like a psychopath with extra cardio about 5x a week bc I was training for a halfie.
I will say that damn, that video gives you cuts where you never thought you had them! I was seriously surprised at what an efficient little workout it was.
DO IT!
Give it a shot! It's so cheap on deepdiscountdvd that you almost have to.
I do it a couple times a week on average, it's helped a lot with strength. It will kick yourass but it's easier than running every day or going to the gym. When I lose the motivation to do it I look at old photos of myself at my happy weight. I usually reward myself with non-food items if I can keep it up for a few days in a row.
FWIW you aren't supposed to do 30 days straight - you should always have a rest day in between strength workouts.
If you can find a 20 minute cardio interval routine, do that on the off days

my muscles hurt in places where I didn't know I had muscles.
The strength segments actually weren't too bad for me (yay for pilates!).
What killed me were the cardio segments. I never knew jumping jacks could kick my butt so badly.
Definitely the longest 20 min of your life, but a great way to get in some quick cardio/strength training.
I lost more inches than weight, and had more definition in my abs, than I had ever seen before.
I have blogged about it a few times, there is a 30DS tag in my blog.
