OB/GYN recs?

I need to find an OB/GYN in the KC area...I have been traveling back to Columbia to use the one I have always gone to.  I figured it's probably time to find one here.

I work at St. Joseph Med. so I have some recs from here, but I don't know if I am comfortable with having to see my personal doctor around my workplace.  It's kind of weird to me.

I have a couple of recs from people I work with, but I am just trying to do a little research before deciding.

  • Dr. Cargill Hickman in Liberty is excellent. I would highly recommend her.

  • Rockhill Women's Care is great... I see Dr Vandenboom and I love the office - I go to the Lees Summit office but I think they have one over on Cardolet (sp?) also and see people at St Joes a couple days a week.
  • I've been referred to Dr. Julie Moore at St. Lukes on the plaza. Haven't been yet- but my friend who is a Labor and Delivery nurse is who recommended her to me.

  • I highly recommend any of the ladies at Women's Clinic of Johnson County over at Menorah Medical Center. The number is (913) 491-4020. My doc is Cynthia Eckert, and I love her, but they're all excellent! I've seen everyone at one point or another in my three pregnancies and routine GYN care.

I third this :) I had my very first OB/GYN visit last week and went to the same clinic (it's at the Liberty Hospital Medical Plaza East). While I didn't have Dr. Cargill, I had the nurse practicioner and she was great. I've actually heard wonderful things about Dr. Reardon there too.
