too early for spring flowers???

we're going to lowes today.  is it too early to plant new flowers for spring/summer???

Re: too early for spring flowers???

  • I think you are fine.  I planted some before the freak snow and freeze last weekend and they are still doing fine.

  • I think its ok.  Noticed the Dafodills have already come and gone.   Most of the trees are leafing out too.  I think I'm gonna get some hanging flowers and put out my Hummingbird feeder....and there are baby birds out now! Its definately Springtime.

  • Yes, I think you should be fine.  Just put some a thick layer of mulch around them.  You're so far ahead of me!  I still need to trim back my crape myrtles and hydrangeas, and clean out the beds.
