Today's Question: 3/8-3/9
What did you do this weekend?
Re: Today's Question: 3/8-3/9
I guess to sum it up, it was pretty much a weekend of service for us. I helped my church doing some painting/cleaning on Saturday, then helped some friends move.
Today, went to church, looked at some houses, then helped friends do a little bit more moving.
Oops, posted this below before I saw this thread.... Anyway we spent all weekend getting the house ready to sell. And now I hurt, baaaad.
Ooh did you decide to move ahead with building your dream house???
We cleaned up the house, watched the NCSU game and spent time with a few of our neighbors on Saturday. Sunday we pretty much kicked back and then grilled out with some friends who recently got back from an overseas assignment in Amsterdam.
It was a pretty relaxing weekend. Hope you all had a great one as well.
Yep. Don't tell MM
I'll post some pictures of the finished house soon.
We took a stroll, built our new grill, had a cookout, went to Falls Park, grilled out again, and watched a movie.
That was Saturday and Sunday. I slept Friday away making up for all the sleep I missed during the week. It was a fun weekend!
Saturday: We were supposed to go to a friend's house for dinner, but he cancelled on us, so instead we went to Sticky Fingers and shared a big huge plate of ribs and then went to the fresh market to buy meat to make spaghetti.
Sunday: Made spaghetti. Then just spent the day around the house doing housework. It really was a slow weekend for me.
Friday I worked half a day, cleaned house, had a checkup appt, and the insurance guy came over.
Sat Brian finished some work, we went to my SIL to start some new work, shopped, went on a date and watched a movie.
Sunday: church, lunch with family, nap (the way it's supposed to be!)
Friday: work 1/2 day, helped DH w/ house repairs, french quarter art walk, bar for birthday drinks
Saturday: laid tile on shower walls, sting rays hockey game, december radio concert
Sunday: church, spray texture on patched ceiling, grouted tile, studied

Haha not a word, that's awesome!
I'd never not do something I thought was right for my family because MM said not to... for instance I posted there last summer when DH got laid off 4 days before we closed on our house... everyone said to bail on the house, but we didn't, and we're glad that we went through with the house.
Also most MMers have no idea how low the cost of living is here!
I had to chuckle at this. . . .I'm telling. . . j/k
Congrats, can't wait to see pictures.
I went hiking on Saturday and had my inlaws over on Sunday. I love this weather, I just can't wait for summer.
