Are you Hungry?

I'm always hungry...which has sparked me to ask, What is your favorite place in the Saint Louis metro area to eat during...

The spring?

The summer?

The fall?

The winter?

Holidays or Special Events?

Re: Are you Hungry?

  • In the spring and early summer (before it gets hot outside) I really enjoy eating outside at the Boat House in Forest Park.  And a lot of the time we go to Red Lobster for something special.  It was my mom's favorite place to go and we continue to carry on the tradition.  I don't really have any place that I prefer to go to in the fall or winter so I'll be interested in finding out what other people have to say.
  • The spring?  Hacienda - chips and salsa with a margarita on their patio = good times

The summer?  The Boathouse - good food in their dining room, love to sit in the beer garden or patio and listen to the live bands

The fall?  Schafly Bottleworks - I'm addicted to their hummus and pale ale, they also often have live bands on their patio and a little fire pit when it gets chilly

The winter?  Trailhead - their chili is fabulous on a cold winter day

Holidays or Special Events?  To celebrate our anniversaries we love to go to the Melting Pot
  • I live downtown, so this might be a hike for you but here are my faves...

Spring/Summer: Rooftop at Vin de Set (2017 Chouteau) or the patio at Harry's (2144 Market St)

Fall: BARcelona (34 N. Central, Clayton)

Winter: Ricardo's (1931 Park Ave, Lafayette Square) or I Fratellini (7624 Wydown Blvd, Clayton) -both small, cozy atmosphere
