Me too! I hate curtains because I never know what color or pattern to get, ugh! And they are so freakin' expensive!
I have a hard time too. but I just picked out the curtains I really liked and I'm going to paint the room to match them.
JCPenny home store has a bunch of great curtains. We had a ball looking at all of them. I think there is one off of Pine Blvd. I was in Weston at my MIL's and we went. Nice, friendly staff there too. Which you don't find very often.

i like tab curtains a lot... i have them in my old bedroom in my mom's house...
i got all the curtains for our house at anna's linens... great prices! not a huuuuuge selection... but good quality
we have the double-rod ones in the living room and bedroom, cause you can pull apart the front ones, and in the back there's a sheer layer (for privacy, but still some sunlight). i usually just think of what i want the overall feel of the room to be, and work from there...
ikea has good ones too, btw...

I think I'm going to paint the walls that khaki color. We are redrywalling the living room, guest bathroom and dinning room so I think I will put that paint color in the living room and dinning room. It might be a little bit lighter / kinda like a coffee with 3 creams, is the best why to describe the color.

LOL, It might be a while. I have to get DH motivated to put up all the dry wall. You might be the first one done. And I'm not a good painter DH and I painted the guest room and he had to do all the rolling because I can't get it on even enough lol. He says I dont push down hard enough on the roller or something like that. But I am good with a brush so I have to do the trim and up around the ceiling.
Thank you, I fell in love with them as soon as I saw them and they were the first ones I saw in the store. They really brighten up the room a lot.
