Northern California Nesties
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
I help with a play group and we need new things for the kids to do. They range in age from 3 weeks-4 years old. Most are 2-3 years old. We are all in Modesto but can drive to go to things. We do have super franks and sac zoo up and ready to go but we need new ideas. Does anyone have a place they like to go to with your kids.
Re: Things to do with kids
I'm not familiar with the area, but here are some general ideas:
- storytime at the library
- a pond that has ducks/birds the kids can watch
- a firestation that does tours (better for the older kids)
- concerts in the park (not sure if Modesto has this or not)
- community pool when it opens in warmer weather
- drive to a park with great (new/different) play equipment, the kids will just like it since it's novel/new to them
- Fairyland in Oakland (not sure if this is still open, or if that is too far to drive)
- pumpkin patch in the fall where they can go pick their own pumpkin
