Back again!

Hey ladies! I'm back for some more advice on our trip to Portland in June...we are finalizing our itinerary and loved all your suggestions. Thank you! The last thing we would like to plan is a day in Willamette Valley at a winery (or two!). I found a large list of wineries in the area, but I was overwhelmed with choices...and I thought if someone had been to a particular one they really liked, it would be awesome to get a suggestion instead of picking at random from a list! Thanks in advance Big Smile

Re: Back again!

  • Anne Amie is my favorite for Pinot Noir.  It's also BEAUTIFUL and has great views.

I like Kendall Jackson for chardonnay and dessert wines.

If your winery day is on a Sunday, I highly reccomend the brunch at Eola Hills in Rickreall.  Their food is amazing and their wine is tasty too.  It's a great way to start your day and worth the $25 per person price tag.  Make a reservation if you can.

  • 2 higher end wineries that are terrific: Domaine Drouhin & Kenneth Wright Cellars

Not sure how it is now but Red Hills was an amazing restaurant when I was there a few years back. Phenomenal with a great wine selection from the NW and all over the country.

If you're looking for a winery that does a lot of tastes, Rex Hill is your vineyard. Sometimes they'll taste over 10 wines.
