DH and I went down to Homer this weekend to watch the eagles being feed on the Spit. It was one of the best things I have ever done in my entire life. We took 500+ pictures in about 1.5 hours. The Eagle Lady passed away in January and they are only feeding the eagles until March. If any Alaskan Nesties like eagles I highly suggest going down there to experience it.
We stayed at Lands End Resort, not the greatest but it was a bed and only $90. We also went to Bear Creek Winery, very cool and good wine.
Have fun!
