DH and I are in desperate need of a few days away. It's been over a year since we've gone somewhere that didn't involve spending time with other family members. We're thinking Vegas because it's been awhile since either of us has been, and we're finding great deals on hotel rooms--we're tight on cash. Anywho, anyone have food or other recs for while we are there? I'm getting excited just looking everything up online.
Re: Vegas
I would recommend to see a show. Check vegas.com and see if there is anything that is avaialble that is within your budget. If no, then hotel hopping is what I normally do (since I am not a gambler). MGM, Luxor, Circus Circus, Paris, Ballagio (anything along the strip) are worth seeing. It's been a very long time since I have been there, so I have no food recs, other than hitting their buffets. Have fun!
Go to the Half Price ticket booth at out side concourse of the Fashion Show mall. They have great deals on ticket prices for various shows. If you like comedy, try the late show of the The Comedy Stop at the Tropicana. Not the upscale of places, but I've yet to experience a bad comedy show. I believe ticket prices are $24.95 pp.
