Wisdom teeth sure are a pain!!!
Does anyone know of a good oral surgeon near Independence, MO? Hell, I'd go to Nebraska if it meant a good one! Give me a recommendation, please. I'm new to this wisdom tooth thing.
Thanks!
Carman
Re: Wisdom teeth sure are a pain!!!
My experience was not so great- I won't go into it to spare you the details, but most of that was due to the fact that my body doesn't do well with anesthesia. I was swollen, too!
Each person has such a different experience. Some people are up and eating that evening and have minimal swelling.
So, the worst part for me, was the anesthesia side effects. I was vomiting for the rest of the day. Once that was done, I got paranoid about getting a dry socket. All of them healed nicely though. I never got a dry socket (when the blood clot falls out and exposes the bone and causes excruciating pain). Trust me, if I can do it, anyone can. I have a low tolerance to pain. :-/
