Movers?

Hi there.  We are moving from the Chelmsford/Lowell area to Nashua/Hudson area at the beginning of April and are in search of movers.  Can anyone recommend a company that they used and had a good experience with?  I'd like to use a local company and don't want to just pick someone off Craigslist without any recommendations.

TIA!

Re: Movers?

  • I used Starving Artist Movers to move about 10 pieces of furniture (including a grand piano) from 2 separate locations in Moultonborough to Concord.  So it was a tiny job, but the furniture was big & fragile.

They are located in Concord, though (I'm not sure if they have other locations).  But I called a few places & they had the best deal.  No flat fee.   They charged me per hour for the men & per mile for the travel.  Which made a lot more sense for me, since it was a small job.

They were very easy to schedule with.

I actually wasn't there when they moved in, but my husband said it was the most professional moving crew he's worked with & he would request them again if we ever needed to move.
