Just finished "Eclipse"

I just finished the third Stephenie Meyer book this afternoon- anyone else read all three? I wasn't sure about the series when I first started, but just flew through all three. I really enjoyed the writing, and can't wait for the next (final?) one in August!

I am in love, love, love with Jacob. I thought I was an Edward girl until the second and third and now he's just kind of annoying to me. Jacob, however - mm, mm, good.

No, no, no...Jacob is way to demanding. Although there is a certain appeal to actually being able to have children and live a semi-normal life. )

I read all three and now I cannot wait for the 4th book and then the Twilight movie in December. We should have a gtg to see the movie.

I'm with closapio- Edward has kind of annoyed me at times over the 2nd & 3rd books. I know he was trying to be protective, but making Alice "kidnap" Bella for the weekend while he was gone kind of creeped me out. He just seemed a little too controlling at times.

I do adore him for hating Wuthering Heights, though, and my husband was excited when I read aloud the part where Edward complains that it's got thoroughly unlikeable characters with no redeeming characteristics! Neither of us liked WH.

I'm wondering if Jacob will imprint with someone in the final book. I have a feeling there may be more conflict between Leah and the pack as well.

I am all for Edward. Yes he did become protective in the last book, but at the same time that made me like him more. He was protecting his love Bella and even though he took the protective thing to an extreme that girl is just a walking distaster waiting to happen. If something could go wrong for her it did. Jacob is just too cocky for me and way too sure of himself. I dont like how he was trying to force something to happen between him and Bella and how he didnt consider her emotions much when he was talking bad about her friends and the life she is living. I just fell in love with Edward in the first book and I have wanted them together since the start.
