Planet Sub

This is absolutely my most favorite sandwich shop in the area.  Does anyone else love it? 

What is your favorite item?  I almost always get Meatless Masterpiece (no onions) or the Green Turkey.

I am going tomorrow for lunch....and am already craving it!

I also like Planet Sub, but I haven't been there in a long time. I love the Creamy crab, but I haven't eaten in in a few years. :-/ My favorite is the greek wrap.

We love PS! Actually, my entire family does! My retired gparents go to the Barry Rd and Liberty PS so often, everyone knows them by their order!!! HA!

Brett gets the creamy crab and I get the tuna! Yum!

I actually have only been there once. I like a soft bread and for me the toasted bread is just too hard. My favorite is Jimmy Johns! I went there for lunch all the time with friends while in high school and then they built one right across the street from the apt dh and i lived in when we lived in MN. Now there isnt one anywhere near us! :-(

I'll have to try Jimmy John's! I pass it all the time. There is one off 135th and Metcalf. What do you eat there?

ps...I know what you mean about the toasted bread. I get the roof of my mouth all scratched up, as if I was eating Captain Crunch. :-P

Oh, I totally agree about the toasted bread!  I've only had Planet Sub once, but it's the same as Yello Sub in Lawrence, which DH loves.  I never wanted to go with him when we lived in Lawrence because of the bread!  But, I did find out that you can get your sub "cold" and they won't toast it, which makes the bread soft and awesome!  I like the Creamy Club-no bacon, or the Green Turkey.

I have a new found love for it. They definitely have the best bread around. I get the "veggie" but I pretty much make it my own. My sister had the chicken parm the other day and said it was the best sandwich she's ever had there.

I must really be missing out as I've never been to or even heard of Planet Sub! I fear I'd have to drive for a good 30 minutes from here though to find one....Leavenworth sucks.

Yum . . . this post is making me hungry!  I heart Planet/Yello Sub and the turkey club.  Their iced green tea is really good, too.

This post got me hungry for PS so a friend and I went there for lunch today!

I like the turkey tom at Jimmy Johns, but their tuna is also really good. DH likes the bootlegger.
