Booked vacation!

DH and I planned a trip to Vegas and changed our minds. We're now going to Puerto Vallarta! I'm so excited. He wanted to go back to Cancun, but I convinced him that we needed to go somewhere new.

We're staying at Dreams. Have any of you been to PV? If so, do you have any tips?

Ooooh, how fun!  My sister went to PV and they had a blast.  She didn't stay at Dreams but she did say the beaches/water was pretty rough.  I'm sure you guys will have a great time.  When are you going?

How fun!! We just got back from PV in January, and had a wonderful time.  Definitely head downtown and check out all the fun shops.  For souveniers go to the flea market.  It's about 8 blocks in from the main drag (Where the boardwalk is) but totally worth it.  Also, for an awesome dinner check out Mark's in Bucerias. It's about a 15$ cab ride but oh so totally worth it.  The food was amazing and the atmosphere is so cool.  Indoor/outdoor with white twinkly lights and a great mariachi band.  Email me if you have any more questions.

I haven't been there, but just wanted to say have fun! A tropical vacation sounds awful nice on a day like today!

our HM cruise stopped in PV.  we loved it.  we did ziplines in the canopy.   absolutely THE MOST AMAZING thing i have ever done in my life!  i have a ton of pics if you want to see them.  just let me know!

Puerto Vallarta is wonderful!  We did not stay at Dreams, but overall Puerta Vallarta was FANTASTIC!  Have fun!

We went a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. My suggestion...just stay in your resort! We traveled out just a few times, but we were much happier in the resort where we felt comfortable and taken care of. I think I have a few pics in my bio.
