Beauty-related: How do you control oil?

I'm going to post this on F&B too, but I figured I would ask my locals first :)

My skin has become out of control oily as of late. I've started using a charcoal and tea tree oil soap, but what do you use if you have oily skin?

Move along, nothing to see here.....

Re: Beauty-related: How do you control oil?

  • As you know I swear by Purity Made Simple but a lot of gals who use it but are trying to be budget concious swear by cetaphil (so much so I am considering switching?!... well at least giving it a shot) The liquid is better than the bar for those that have oil concerns. It's at Target :)
  • Thanks E!

  • This doesn't solve the original problem, but Clinique makes these great blotting "papers" that soak up oil but leave your makeup.  They're actually very thin sheets of something plastic-y and don't have any additional powder on them like a normal blotting paper.
  • Peter Thomas Roth makes a WONDERFUL product for this!!  I used to work for them and I love all of their stuff!!

    max anti-shine mattifying gel
Oil-free, fragrance-free with an advanced oil-absorbing pore minimizer for an all-day greaseless matte look.
