Tooth Extraction Tomorrow
Yuck, right? I've always had dental issues, but this one takes the cake. Due to a bad root canal/crown less than 2 years ago, I now have to say goodbye to a molar. It's been awhile since I've had a tooth extracted - since my wisdom teeth actually.
I am not looking forward to changing the gauze and sipping on soup for 2 days. And I'm really not looking forward to handing over a ton of money for the extraction, bone graft, and dental implant. We didn't plan on having to shell out all this extra cash for my teeth this year.
Luckily, I should be good to go before I see you ladies on Sunday for brunch.
Don't you hate it when life hands you lemons? Have you recently had unexpected financial challenges?

Sorry to hear about the tooth problems. I work at a dental institute and we just opened a private practice within the Institute so I know exactly how pricey your surgery is going to be.
Yes we have had some unexpected issues and the year has just started DH car got broken into on Thursday night. They cut his window out and took the his dvd/cd player. So since we live in Miami and DH has to drive in traffic, it is hard not to have a radio. So now we have to purchase him a new radio. His old one cost us about 300.00 so I am sure the new one will cost that much or more. Also I left my phone in Red Lobster a week ago and they did not turn it in. So with no phone insurance and I had to purchase a new phone. So there goes two items that needs to be replaced.

Even though you guys weren't expecting this, it will work out OK.You just gotta roll with the punches and try to make the best decisions.
Shirley, sorry to hear about the phone and the dvd player. But at least you have a story to tell.
Best wishes that the extraction goes well tomorrow! Thursday I'm going in for 2 fillings, not happy at all.
So far this year, not to many financial pop ups. However, since last month we've been calling banks left and right for refinancing and nothing. No one can help us, the house has gone down so much in value. It's really depressing.
