Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Thank you.

I was going to take a box of books to a used bookstore to sell, but I thought I might donate them instead. Is there a nursing home or hospital around the Orlando/ Winter Park area that would take them?
Re: Where to donate books?
Depending on what shape they are in, and what kind of books they are (novels, reference, etc), your public library may be interested in them. If they are in good shape, they possibly could add them to their collection on the shelves OR if they have a "Friends of the Library" society like mine does, they have a book sale every year to raise funds for library programs (summer reading programs, etc).
Just another idea for you. Like you said, hospitals and senior centers could also benefit, I'm sure.
