Reccomend your hairstylist...

I have been without hairstylist for quite some time (my lady packed up and moved). So, I've been going to different places everytime since. I think I need to find a more long term relationship... any reccomendations?

Re: Reccomend your hairstylist...

  • I like Visible Changes in Northstar mall. I never go to the same stylist twice and I've always left happy with my cut.

  • I just got a new one - I've been flipflopping places every haircut and I've found a home, FINALLY.

Joshua @ Sivan Salon - He's the owner and just opened his salon a few months ago. Really nice, modern place, and he's great. I got the rec from Michelle, who is uber picky about hair.

  • I LOVE my girl - Miranda at K Charles and Co on Stone Oak and 1604 (there's also a K Charles on Broadway depending on your side of town). She's $60, but it's a nongrat salon. I think the cut and styles start at $45 depending on the level of your stylist.

  • I grew up going to Visible Changes in Northstar mall!

My sister goes to Breanne at Folawns.  I went to HS with Breanne.

  • everyone at Toni and Guy is good...i have one gal I always go to there, but they are all good...
  • Roxana at Stone Oak (1604). She's great and only $40 b/c she's a junior stylist. No tipping either. She is great at highlights too!
  • I've been going to my stylist since I was 5. She does a great haircut and REALLY great highlights. Her new place is on Huebner in between UTSA Blvd. & Floyd Curl. Her name is Sandi Luter and the place is Salon by MC. She does all her bookings personally - you have my info if you want her #. She charges $32 for a haircut, blowdry & style.
  • I just started going to Terry at Petra's.  I have curly hair and he does, too, so he does a great job.  It was only $30 for the cut (no blow dry).
  • I've had my haircut by Kate at Treat Hair Studio in Alamo Heights, and love her! She is super sweet and does a great job. Kind of pricey, I think maybe $60 or $65 for a haircut, but I'm happy with her. www.treathairstudio.com
