We have a new fence!
A couple of months ago our house was broken into, and it made us realize how much we needed a privacy fence instead of just the chain link we'd had. We only have a house on one side of us (no one behind us and no one to our right) so it had never been a big deal since there was a privacy fence on the shared side.
MH and FIL have done the whole thing themselves and it looks so awesome! I'm so proud of them. We have a pretty big backyard, so it was a lot of fence and a lot of work to dig the holes, set the posts in concrete, etc. Plus, I really think that its a higher quality job and a better fence than we would have gotten if we'd paid someone. All they have left to do is the back gate, so they should be completely done soon.
Sometimes I wonder if there's something wrong with me to be this excited over a fence.
