Anyone going to Phantom?

I'm going to get tickets today... Matt has a bunch of time off in March (finally!!!!!) so we're pretty flexible on dates. I've seen it before, and while it's not my fav, I know Matt will love it. He's such a metro-sexual, LOL!!!!!!

  • I wish, Justin would not agree to it though.

  • I've seen it in NY, but I would love to go again, however Mike would never agree. He is such a baby about plays. He's never been to a good one, so he assumes all plays are boring..

My sister just saw Mary Poppins in NY last Sunday. She said it was awesome. I can't wait to see it!
  • I think I pushed it with the Nutcracker Ballet this past christmas!  I went several years ago...I really enjoyed it.   have fun!
  • Score!!! One of our salesman just so happens to have 2 extra tickets- 9 rows back, center!!!!! (Who has extra tix to Phantom...???) Friday, March 7! I'm so thrilled! We're going to treat them to dinner before. It will probably cost more than the tickets would have, but no way could we have gotten such good seats. I'm excited :)

  • going next thursday and have awsome seats in the Starlight Suite. can't wait!!!!!!
  • Just bought tickets the other day. Phantom is DH's favorite - he's seen it on Broadway, so I'm sure this will be rather anticlimactic.
  • Lara - the touring productions are actually pretty good!!! I mean, they still won't be quite the same as Broadway, but I think that Phantom is one of the few shows that travels with all of the dramatic staging...a lot of tours take things that are hard to travel with out. And the last production I saw in San Antonio was an AMAZING cast. I've seen it 4 times and that was the best cast I'd seen.
  • jenna - I agree. I saw the touring production in Houston several years ago. I thought it was great!  But I have to imagine that nothing can hold a candle to Broadway...
