Shower location help!

I'm planning a wedding shower for one of my best friends here in SA.  I need some suggestions for locations. 

I'm not looking for anything fancy.  I have a couple of places in mind but need more options.

Oooo- I'd love to help, but need more details!! Price? Time of day? couples or just girls? area of town? I really loved my BM luncheon at Mad Hatters near downtown. Crumpets also does a nice job.

HA HA!!  I was just about to post the exact same question!  The one I'm throwing will probably be a couples shower with 20-30 people.  Suggestions please!

The wedding shower I threw last year was held in the nicely-decorated clubhouse of the apartment complex of my sister.  It had a full kitchen with a large room and lots of chairs.  If you know someone who lives in an apartment and has a nice party room, see if they can reserve it for you.

Probably about 20-30 people, just girl, not exactly sure about price, but it is only my mom and I throwing it so not too much but not sure of the exact budget.

We did mine at Candle Light Cafe/Coffee House on St. Mary's. I also went to one at Scenic Loop Cafe, it's a bit of a drive but really nice.

We had that amount at my BM luncheon at Mad Hatters and it was only ~$500. I thought that was fairly reasonable... but that was almost 3 yrs ago. For sure check Crumpet's... they have such a nice outside area and they did a great shower for a friend.
