moving to San Antonio

hello everyone! I've been looking around the website and found this posting board really cool. My husband and I will be moving to San Antonio in a couple of months and I can't wait! I visited the city over Christmas break and really liked it. He'll be going to UTSA, we looked at a couple of apartment complexes in the North Central Area... I really liked a couple: Escalante and Sedona Ranch. Have any of you heard of them? any other suggestions?? Should we be looking at other places perhaps? Any comments would help a ton! Thanks a lot! :)

Re: moving to San Antonio

  • I here Sedona Ranch is really hard to get out of during high traffic times. My friend ended up moving because of traffic issues.

Other than that she had no complaints.
  • My sister's BF goes to UTSA and they live at the Rogers Ranch apartments (north central, off 1604).  There may be a waiting list there, so if you like them, get on the list now!

  • I agree with Kate.  Roger's Ranch is really nice and very quiet. You can't beat the location also.
  • thanks a lot for ur replies! they helped a lot, we're going to look into those apartments, it's hard to choose the right location when you've never lived in a city or know much about it... so we need all the help we can get! thanks so much!
  • Hey Monik P,

Just throwing this out here...do you have a church in mind to attend? It's a non denominal(sp) church and it's called CBC(community bible Church) and they have service called Eastgate. It's geared towards twenty-something like ourselfs (married, young couples)

Here's the website and it's worth checking out and the teachings are great and dh and I love to attend there as well.
