What is everyone's favorite burger joint??
Mrs. Erin, you mentioned Rocky's. I have always been more fond of Hodad's. I thought Rocky's was a little tasteless. I guess I should give it another chance.
?
Re: Poll: Best Burger?
It seems like ever since they've been on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, the line has gotten longer and longer. Plus Hodad's gives me the big D.
I don't know if Rocky's is the best, but it's pretty good. Same with the burger at Longhorn Cafe and In N Out.
Rocky's was recommended to us by someone and neither of us liked it. Same thing for In N Out. After hearing all the hype, we decided to try it and it was terrible, even the animal style one. There is no meat in that thing and the sauce just makes up for the lack of meat.
There was a thread about best burgers recently on another San Diego board I'm on. I haven't tried most of these, but these are what people were suggesting: Seau's and Night and Day Cafe in Colorado, for chain, Burger Lounge is a popular place (I actually liked that one and have one nearby in La Jolla), Hodad's, and Tioli's Crazee Burger. I will be trying Tioli's next, since I've been trying to find a place that serves kangaroo and they do! They also have ostrich (love that) venison, antelope and gator burgers.

DH and I like Burger Lounge. They use grass fed beef so it's ot as heavy as a regular burger.
There is a place in North Park called Crazy Burger that was featured on the Food Network that is supposed to have some interesting burger options but I haven't been....
