So sad....

Last month, Matt was on the phone with me while he was driving home in major traffic. When he finally got to the 5/210 split he said that there was an accident. Then he said that he could see that a motorcycle was down (he used to ride and still loves motorcycles). As he rolled along, he said "OMG! There is a 'man down' with a flannel drapped over him". He got really quite and then he said that he will see me when he gets home...bla bla. I did not think too much of it and then yesterday, I saw this in the local news paper...

Remember to give your husbands a big hug and kiss...unfortunately she will not be able to.

So true, that this is something we should hold onto dearly every day. My heart goes out to her and the family.

  • This is so sad. I hope they are doing well.

DH chances just dropped another 30% for getting a motorcycle. I'm scared of him riding one and we had just had the cosideration talk about this.

  • One of my moms here at the preschool knows the family.  Very very sad.

  • So tragic.  I hate stories like this.
  • I couldn't even finish reading it. It is so sad just to read the headline. I'll make sure to give Dh a big hug when he gets home.

  • That is so sad. I lost someone very special in a car accident and it made my heart churn to read that article. I wish drivers would pay attention when operating vehicles. I see drivers putting on makeup and talking on their cell phones all the time.
