Vacation Recs

Hey all!  We are looking to plan a trip over Memorial Day or 4th of July and are having a hard time picking a place!  We have thought about a Caribbean cruise, or Jamaica, but we really aren't sure.  We have also thought about Europe and Hawaii, but I just think there is a good chance those locations may get really expensive. We did Mexico for our honeymoon, so we have kind of ruled Mexico out for this trip. We like to do some relaxing, but don't want to just sit on a beach or by a pool all day either.  We have done an all inclusive and loved it!  I am really looking for any good idea.  Thanks!

Re: Vacation Recs

  • One of my favorite places to go is the Outer Banks, NC.  It's very relaxing, but not all inclusive.  You can rent a house or stay in a hotel.  There's a lot of touristy/beachy type things to do there or you could just read at the beach all day long.  You should check it out.

  • We're going on a cruise to Jamaica and Cayman Islands in April.  There's some really cheap rates out now and so it's a great deal.  All food is included so it ends up not being too expensive besides tips and excursions if you do those.  I did the same exact cruise back in 2001, and it was a great time!
