As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Just Don't Get It
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the point of joining a group such as this is for people to share knowlege and feelings with one another. If nobody is going to post, or you do not plan on replying to a post or just sharing in general, than why did you sign up for this?

I agree this board is slow. A lot of us met on the Knot in 2005 ( some even before) while we were wedding planning. I feel I can speak for many of us, that we used to post a lot back then. I really don't know why this board is so slow? I for one have a 14 month old and work full time. I don't have a lot of free time ( miss when I did!).
There are lots of other boards on the Nest with many active posters...just not the Vegas one

yes, this board is slow. It has been ever since I belonged. I did get to attend one get together and met very nice girls. I would love to meet up more often, but like the other poster said...I work full time and have a 4 month old. My free time is very limited. I very rarely get to check this during the day and my time in the evening is dedicated to my DD & DH.
A lot of people join to read the posts, rather than respond to them. In addition, many people (myself included) post on other boards very frequently but rarely come to this board since it's so dead.
If you are asking why no one responded to your posts in particular, I can't answer that. I didn't respond because I don't have kids so I figure it wasn't directed at me, unless you were referring to a pupply play date, in which case Wilbur would love to come.
I wish this board was more active like it was during the knot days, but the Las Vegas board on the knot had very few active local participants. Most were from other states/countries and were just on the Vegas board because they were getting married in our hometown. That's probably why this board is dead compared to theknot Vegas board.
