Hi Ladies,
We're going to LA next week (Wed 18th-Tue 24th) and have just decided to live it up/make it easier and get a hotel and rental car (instead of staying with family and working around schedules).
Any suggestions on great deals (either specifically for LA or tried and true sites) to look for either of those or packages that include hotel and car? I've tried most of the common sites, but thought I'd see what you ladies suggest.
TIA.

Re: Travel Deals/Websites
We had good luck with Hotwire for our San Fran trip last year. Especially at last minute, you should be able to get a good deal with them. The only thing is that you can't choose your hotel - you just choose by how many stars you want the hotel to have.
Another idea is if you know a couple of hotels you'd like to stay at, call the hotel directly and as for a last-minute discount. I used to work in a hotel sales office and we'd often discount rooms for people if they were taking the leftovers at last minute.

I booked our LA trip last year through CheapOair but I have also used Trip.com also very nice willing to go above and beyond.
Good Luck!
Hi Joy! If you're flexible I highly recommend Priceline, I get the best deals there, esp on car rentals. And if I can recommend, check out www.purpleroofs.com because they have tons of listings for gay friendly b&b's with really good rates. I love b&b's so much more, they're more personal and such a great value. Last time we went to L.A. we stayed in WeHo for only $90 a night at this B&B called Ectarina's...I wonder if she's still open?
