Hi!!! I've been MIA

Hey ladies!!! I've been a bit MIA lately...but just wanted to say HI.  Work has been hectic plus between that and the m/s I barely get on.  Although today I'm feeling great!!

JennyLo** my cousin suffers from HORRIBLE allergies due to dust,  our cousin whose an electrician advised him to put a light bulb where the filter is at (his is inside the a/c closet).  Its a special light bulb but it kills a bunch of allergens.  Its helped tremendously!!! My cousin can't even be around cleaning products b/c he will not stop sneezing!!!!

Red** sorry to hear about your car...but i'm glad the ILs are willing to fix it!!! veyr nice of them.

Yocy** uhmmm is the video up????

And to the rest of the girls...I hope FRIDAY comes REALLY fast!!! We all need a brake!!!

xoxo

  • I was wondering where you went!! Glad you're back :)

OMG!!! I love your renovations!! The kitchen looks amazing.  Over the fireplace I wouldn't hang up a mirro instead lay it on the mantle and then place other frames around it.  That would look great.

ok seriously that's exactly what I did last night. I leaned a mirror and then put two pictures on each side and I moved the "LOVE" letters from the console under the tv and put them off center to the left of the mirror and added an apothacary jar thing filled with those fragrance ball things. I'llpost some pics when I get back from lunch.

Oh, and thanks about the kitchen :) I still have no clue what to put on those shelves though :( I don't really collect andything and I don't have any cool glass bottles so I'm still looking for some ideas.

  • i think the spice rack that yocy suggested is great.  or cook books.  maybe different olive oils for dipping.

Yes my IL's are the greatest, I don't know what I would do without them.

In response to this....Im afraid its gotten a lot worse :(. I dont know if you read my blog but we found a kitten and decided to adopt her. We got her all her shots etc and we have been keeping her indoors. My hubby has had cats before in his lifetime but they were more outdoors. Well what started as a rash and itchy eyes, turned into a bigger rash, runny noes and now finally he has full blown Asthma. It has been 2 weeks. He had bad asthma as a child but it went away. He wakes up in the middle of the night and needs his inhaler and everything. We are so torn because we really do love the damn cat but I dont think we can keep her. I posted on the Pets board about the possibility of keeping her outdoors and the ladies there sternly told me that is a big no no for a kitten. I am going to start asking family members to see if anyone is interested in keeping her but we kind of dont want to do away with her :(. ughgggggg what to do!

Sorry that was so long winded but I had to get that off my chest. Thank you for the lightbulb rec!!!! I will still look into it just in case :).

  • oh Jenny that's horrible!! Sorry to hear that.  I know how difficult it is when you adopt a pet and you cannot find a middle ground to keep them with you.  When I was a child my brother had HORRIBLE dog allergies, nose bleeds all the time b/c of the hair.  And we couldn't have an inside dog :(
