I don't know where you are on your TTC journey - but I saw this and thought of you.

The Lutrepatch? study is testing the safety and effectiveness of a new delivery method of a medication for women who are trying to get pregnant. If you are a woman 18-38 years of age who has been trying to get pregnant and has an irregular monthly menstrual cycle (4 or fewer menstrual cycles per year OR have a menstrual cycle of more than 45 days), you may qualify for free treatment through this study.

Re: Christine

  • THANKS! I will definitely have to look in to that!!

We plan to start with my next cycle. They are running more tests this cycle (if I ever ovulate... grrr), and then we plan to inseminate next cycle.

Looking back over my info in fertility friend, I realized I have only ovulated 4 times since May of 2008, so we'll probably try to take advantage of any future ovulation (we had previously planned to only inseminate during particular months of the year so as to avoid me being in my first tri or home on maternity leave during my busiest period at work).

  • Oh, bummer! I would have to "have a male partner with a normal sperm count" to qualify.

I'll be keeping my eye on the study, though. I'm very curious now!
