Hotel Rec needed

I am planing a trip to SA in April for my nephew's 3rd B-day and was looking for hotels. We will need 3 rooms and we're think about staying on the river walk so he can look out the window at the rive.  I looked at orbitz but it is hard to tell which ones are right on the water. We are also going to sea world so any tips on that would be great or any other ideas for a 3 and 6 year old. Is there a better area to stay other than the river walk.

If you want the riverwalk experience, then that's a good place to stay. I'm not any help with the hotels, but some of the other girls probably will be. As far as other things to do for kids, there's the Children's Museum downtown on Houston street & the Zoo not too far from there. You can even picnic in Brackenridge park next door to the zoo. Sea World is pretty far from downtown, but it's still fun. You can buy discount tickets either on their website or even HEB (I think). Have fun!
