Guess who I met Friday night?
That's right...Joey McIntyre! My life is complete. 
Before the NKOTB concert, Portia and I went to the side of the building where the buses were parked (they each get their own bus). Joey and Jordan walk by and wave at us. I was very happy, but decided to stay a bit longer in case the rest walk by. While we were waiting, a guy with a red polo shirt walks by me with his little boy. I looked at him, smile, and look away. Then I look back...sure enough it was Joey. His niece had lost her eye glasses in the grass and they were looking for them. He asked for our help saying that who ever finds them will get back stage passes. Unfortunately, no one found the glasses, but it was really nice to walk around and help them look. I chatted with his older sister and she was really interested in my dissertation research. I politely asked if I could shake his hand and take a picture, but because he had his son with him, he said no. Plus, I'm sure that the other 10 or so women who were there would want the same thing.
The concert was great and very entertaining. Portia, who doesn't even like the band but is a great friend, took over 200 pictures. When I get them from her, I'll post them on-line and share with you guys.
