Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Regarding Nestie Vendors
Hi Nesties
We just wanted to clear up some confusion regarding Nestie vendors. The ?no vendor? policy is not in place because Nestie vendors compete with The Nest. The policy is simply in place to provide a Community free of soliciting. We get dozens of emails daily asking us to have Nesties stop advertising on the boards, and we try to make the user experience as pleasant as possible.
Last week we tried to be a bit more lenient and allow Nesties with etsy or other craft stores to link in their signature. Unfortunately, this created a lot of problems with other Nesties wanting to know where the line is drawn. Why can one Nestie post her online store, but another can?t post her real estate website? Obviously, this isn?t going to work.
In an effort to appease the most members of our Community, we?re going to stick to our No Soliciting policy on the message boards and in signatures. If you have an online store, you may link to it in your bio. This will keep our Community vendor free, but let creative Nesties have a chance to show off their handiwork.
