Anyone live in Flagstaff/Prescott area???
Hi! I am a San Diego native, living in Minneapolis for the past year due to school for DH. We are hoping to move back out west, but San Diego is just a little too unaffordable for us? Plus DH can?t stand the traffic and lack of open spaces in SoCal. We are seriously thinking about moving to Flagstaff or Prescott area? I?m just wondering if anyone on this board lives there, or has lived there. I have only driven through and stayed overnight Flagstaff, but have always loved what I?ve seen. However, I realize this is not the same as living there, and I have never been to Prescott, only learned about it through research and it looks to have jobs in DHs field (radiography). Would just love to get in touch with someone who could give me some more info! (I also posted this on the Phoenix board...)
Thanks!

Re: Anyone live in Flagstaff/Prescott area???
I lived in Prescott while I was in Grad School about three years ago and I still have friends who live there. I still visit every few months and love it. For Arizona, it definitely has four different seasons. In the winter, you will get snow, but it doesn?t last long. I really loved the small town charm Prescott had? That being said there has been a large influx of people and some of the character I loved is changing. Especially in Prescott Valley. There is tons of growth. It is much cheaper to live there than in SoCal and it has everything you could want for the basic necessities in shopping, etc. Heck it even has an In n?Out. And if you can?t find everything you need, it is only a quick hour and a half to Phoenix.
I am not sure if I answered your questions, but if you have specific things you want to know, you can page me and I will try and answer your questions.
