Hotel recs in Tucson for OOT'ers?

Re: Hotel recs in Tucson for OOT'ers?

  • It depends on how much you want to spend.  I have some friends who stayed at the Westward Look Resort and they really like it.  I have also heard good things about the Marriott Starr Pass Resort.  HTH.
  • When are you coming? That will affect prices. Currently there are deals for the summer, but prices will increase in the fall/winter.

The Arizona Inn near the U of A is nice. JW Marriott Starr Pass is great, it's on the west side of town. The Westin LaPaloma is on the north, north/central part of town - nice but expensive. Loews Ventana Canyon and Westward Look resort are also good. We also have Double Tree, Sheraton, Radisson, and Hiltons throughout town that are more standard hotels rather than resorts.

    Hope that helps!
  • thanks!
i checked out a few of those already, but a few were new names, so i'll check them out.  we'd be coming in october and i'm hoping not to spend an arm and a leg!
  • When DH's family came to Tucson they stayed at a bed and breakfast on the northeast side.  They all loved it.  Great views from that area too.  Anyhow, it's the Indian Hill B&B.

  • If you are looking for a decent price and a more central location, check out Windmill Inn and Suites on Campbell and River. They are gorgeous! :) Good staff and near a lot of great restaraunts too :)
