anyone from Tehachapi?

FI and I are moving to Tehachapi can anyone give us advice on good areas to live we were looking at houses in Golden Hills East

Crazyness.... I didnt know anyone else from the sticks nested... I have lived here my whole life... Golden Hills is awesome. Alpine is nice also if you like snow. Stallion is great because it is far enough from "down town" but close enough to get in to get what you need. The drive does start to get to some people though... If you havent already bought... I would recomend staying AWAY from Bear Valley, you end up paying a ton in accosiation fees and they have way too many rules about everything from what you can plant to what color you can paint your house. Sand Canyon is also some where I would never buy. We had a friend buy a new KB home and has had tons of problems with it so just keep that in mind... sorry i didnt see this post earlier. I keep forgetting about the local board.... I am usually on D&R so you can find me there if you need any help. When are you guys moving to good old T-town as we like to call it? or the land of 4 seasons (all in one day) as you will soon come to find out. I hope any of this helps.
