So DH and I had a great weekend! Went to Lowe's on saturday and got DH a lawn mower and trimmer. I got a whole bunch of new flowers, and we spent the day replanting our flower beds and cleaning up our mess of a yard. Sunday we walked down to the Parade which was fun, except that I got super burned. How was everyone elses weekend, and how is your monday going??

I HATE car dealerships and their service departments!!! I bought a brand new Jeep last March and it is already having transmission problems. I called the dealer I bought it from and they have a two week waiting list for repairs, meaning I would have to drop the car off and leave it for two weeks. Oh, and they don't provide rental cars either, so I would pretty much be out of luck. I called two other Jeep dealers and they have a first come first serve basis for service and I would have to leave the car for a couple days so they could figure out what is wrong. Eddie said not to worry that we would work something out, but how can they expect someone to give up their car for days or weeks?!? I guess the plan is to stall for so long that the warranty lapses and you have to pay full price, well that won't happen to me.
Also, my internet is super s-l-o-w today! Ugh!
How awesome was the weather this weekend! I did a lot of work in my gardens as well. I have declared battle against the snails who like to eat all the leaves off my plants. :-(
I am SOO glad that we have a short week this week. We're off Thurs-Monday. Hooray!
We had a great weekend and enjoyed the weather.
However, it's Monday. DH thinks his MRSA is back (antibiotic resistant staph infection) and the owner of my company was in my office this morning......What a way to start off a week. Good thing it's a short one!
My best friend forgot my birthday last week, but made up for it big time with a COOKIE BOUQUET!!! It looks too pretty to eat, but you better believe I will dig into this thing later.
She asked me for my office suite number last week so I gave it to her and asked if she was sending a barber shop quartet to sing for me. She said no, a man in a bunny suit was going to bring me an easter basket on Thursday. So when I was called from my office to the receptionist's desk I half believed I would see a 6 foot bunny standing there, but alas it was a cute old man from cookies by design. Love her!!!
