What everyone doing for Valentine's Day?

I think I'm going to cook DH a romantic dinner and stay in... don't want to fight the restaurant crowds. What are y'all doing??

DH and I got tired of fighing the crowds and paying too much for flowers, so we started our own Valentine's Day. We celebrate on August 14th instead and that way we can get reservations at any restaurant with no problem! :-) Plus its kinda fun having our own special holiday.

This would be the first year that we are not celebrating Valentine's Day.  We are in the process of purchasing a home and are trying to save all of out "duckies".  I will at least get him a card.

We pretty much spent this past weekend together because I have to work.  Again.  For the third year in a row.  This should be the last year for this BS.  We went to vote, get our taxes done, and spent time watching TV.

We are no longer newlyweds. lol

He did actually fix me a bubble bath Friday night, with bath salts, bubbles and candles--waiting for me as soon as I drove in. Brought me an ice cold mojitini and let me soak for an hour.  After which he gave me a back rub and gave me some snuggle time.  And I just KNOW he's gonna send me flowers at work Thursday, just like he did for our anniversary.  I just mailed the last two of his six Valentine's cards, and I'll get him something later on that I know he'll like.

 Nothing, DH doesn't believe in it and he has to work.  I guess we'll exchange cards.  I'm spending the night with my other man...Alex.

i got george a card from the boys, but that's about it. maybe i'll cook. or something. like saxy, i think i'll just stay in with all four of my boys.

We're going to do dinner at the house with a good bottle of wine. :-) No fighting the crowds for us! we'll probably exchange cards but no gifts this year.

DH is taking me to lunch during the day tomorrow. I'll spend the evening with DH and Chan, sifting through all of Chan's candy from school, keeping what I want and throwing away the rest! (Ha-Ha)

Just exchanging cards ... we have plans to check out 'A Soldier's Play' at the ABCT this weekend.
