17 weeks pregnant and looking for a new OB/GYN
I am looking for a new Obstetrician. The one I have is good, but she is
so busy now. Her practice has tripled. She birthed my 2nd child. I just
want someone that can give me their undivided attention for the say 5
minutes they actually see me. I usually have to wait anywhere from 35
minutes to 1.5 hours just to move into the exam room.
I am not
sure if doctors are willing to take on new clients at this point in a
pregnancy. My present doctor is female. I do prefer a female, but I am
not at a point to discriminate this late on. Also, I am hoping whomever
I find would be willing to do a VBAC after 2 c-sections or at least let
me have have a trial of labor first. Another issue is that I am 37, so
I will need someone that is a high-risk specialist or that works in
conjunction with one.
I live in Metairie, but have no problem with seeing a doctor in New Orleans (east bank).
