Anthony Orlando Benefit
Hi! Just wanted to let you ladies know about a benefit coming up Sunday, February 24, 2008 for Anthony Orlando. He is a wonderful 6 year old boy who was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma Stage IV back in April. He has been receiving treatment since then, and he has responded well so far. His family is in New York right now where Tony is receiving radiation and chemotherapy. We are praying for a full recovery!
Due to the severity of this disease, his parents are seeking out the best possible treatment for him. That is found in New York, at Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Medical insurance does help with some of the costs, but it is not nearly enough. They are having to travel from New Orleans to New York at least 15 times this coming year. A benefit is being held to try to help raise money for his treatment and for the costs of travel and stay in New York.
