This board seems really slow, soooo ... I thought I'd make a silly, yet informative poll!!
FAVORITE thing/place/whatever about NOLA? I adore all the French words in street names and businesses. I'm sure all of you are used to it! I don't have a favorite place yet, but I'm sure it's going to be a cafe that serves 50+ types of coffees and has WiFi!

The FOOD! Nowhere in the world, is there food like we have here. That was the thing I missed the most while evacuated in Memphis. Gumbo, red beans, jambalaya, ettoufee, etc!!!!
My favorite place is the Superdome. It just has fond memories for me, with all the Saints games, LSU games and Championships, tailgating, and concerts. And my most favorite soon-to-be memory -- my law school graduation!!!

I love that you can go out eat, party, get drunk, eat again, and get sober all in the same night without going home! LOL..
