DFW Nestie with travel question
DH and I are looking to get away for a weekend, and he's never been to New Orleans so we thought that would be fun. Anyway, flights and hotels are fairly inexpensive, but I was just wondering about how much you think it'd be to take a cab/shuttle from the airport to the French Quarter? DH has never been to New Orleans before, and since we're only going to be there a couple of days, we're trying to justify not renting a car (since we'll probably just hang out in the french quarter and maybe take the streetcar to the garden district).
Sorry that's so long. So in a nutshell: can we get by without a car, and is it crazy expensive to take a cab from the airport?

I used to know this, but I am having a blank. I think it is like $28 from airport to French Quarter for 2 people.
