My weekend was great! My bff called and surprised me by telling me she was in town, which is always a great phone call to get!
Friday: HH, reading
Saturday: Saw The Wrestler with H, dinner, drinks with bff
Sunday: Reading, shopping, writing
Great weekend, I'm sad it's over.
This week is going to suck balls. I have tons of crap at work, I have to miss St. Patrick's Day fun because I'll be in class, AND this is the class where everyone will be critiquing my work, so I'm really nervous. :- I'm just trying to make it to Thursday alive.

Is it Monday already? This will be my first full week back to work in 2 weeks.. I'm draaaaaggggiiinng this morning.
The weekend was a blur for me-
Friday: Had class but was so jet lagged I couldn't keep my eyes open and went home early.
Saturday morning our two new furrballs arrived. The rest of the weekend pretty much revolved around them.. lol. Ok no I'm lying- we did go to a family gathering for my BIL's b day we played rock band- I sang because I suck at drums and guitar.
Yesterday we slept in and spent the day with the furrballs... (it's kinda weird getting used to their personalities! It feels kinda like baby sitting right now.) Late at night we picked up BFF from LAX came home and crashed.
Waking up this morning was a little rough. YAWN!

fri: caught up on the DVR, crashed early.
sat: went shopping, spent a little too much at the BR outlet. but, it was friends and family weekend so I saved $60! did my 30 day shred video in the afternoon, had an ok dinner at flemings in the evening. the dessert, apple bread pudding, kicked ass so at least it ended on a high note.
sun: did a bunch of chores around the house, read my book.
It was okay. Depressing as all hell. MH LOVES wrestling, otherwise I never would have gone.
Mickey Rourke was good in it, but he was essentialy playing himself, so no real stretch.

Friday - wino birthday party... got a little TOO tipsy.
Sat - 7M run, car shopping, HH at Charlie Palmers and then I bought a car. Fun times.
Sun - cleaned house, saw some of the fam, played tennis & then H made an awesome dinner. yummy stuff!
this week - not much planned. H wants to go to Big Bear this weekend...
Friday--Jet lag hit and I fell asleep at 5p
Saturday-had the additional blessing of being up at 3a :-(, spent the day shopping and volunteering. I had a surprisingly good time at a dinner party
Sunday--lunch out with friends, BIL and SIL (awkard turtle) followed by karoke wii style at the home

Saturday- Celebrated Mr. Kirkette's birthday. Enjoyed enough pie to kill a man
Sunday - Church, and studied for finals this week
I'm really looking forward to the weekend. On Saturday, we're helping with an Orangewood Foundation Prom Dress event. Sunday is the Pasadena Marathon. After that we're flying to Portland for spring break. Come on weekend!
Ugh I was dreading this week at work so much this morning...hope it goes by quickly =/
Fri - drove up to my parents house to spend time with my sister before she goes back to college
Sat - More family time and H came up for the day
Sun - Went back home and caught up on DVR, hit up On the Border for margartias and to use the free entree coupon we got awhile back
This week is H's birthday and the persian new year so lots of after work activities going on...
Friday: drinks, TV catch-up
Saturday: 30-day shred (two levels), Coraline 3-D, shopping at Spectrum
Sunday: 30-day shred (two levels), church w/ APK and free beer for St. Patrick's Day, shopping at Mission Viejo mall and BBB, BBQing amazing burgers
I leave tomorrow for North Carolina for three days...followed by what promises to be an AMAZING weekend. Can't wait!!!

Weekend was fab. Didnt do much. My cousin's daughter who lives in Alaska was in town visiting, so I got to hang out with her. She's so grown up now, it's nuts. Freshman in high school. Makes me feel old. Sunday we went to church for the first time in years, hopefully we make a habit of it.
It was a great weekend!
Friday: Day of bliss. Brunch, a massage, a pedicure and dinner at The Hobbit. The wine pourings with each course were generous, so I was feeling pretty good by the end of the day.
Saturday & Sunday: Sheer laziness around the house. I pulled the birthday-princess card and made H take care of any errands and chores.
Since I have all of next week off, this week is basically just a countdown until vacation. :-)
Weekend was pure laziness with the husband....I loved it!
This week is all about catching up with my family I had to ignore while MIL visited. MH may be out of town for two days, which sucks but I understand.

I didn't do much this weekend. Cleaned, read, worked out. Got toasted Sat night at TGIF's happy hour, haircut (highlights woot!).
Baked a pumpkin pie yesterday.
yep. a new A6. It's so nice, I feel a little silly driving it. But we got an incredible deal on it. Crappy economy = great deals on cars

we took an unexpected trip to san diego on friday night and the hub and FIL went fishing on saturday while the bean and i relaxed in a shitty_hotel and then used our sea world annual pass to walk around the park and peoplewatch.
yesterday we lazed around and then met up with the ILs for dinner to welcome MIL home from china. good times.

Weekend was practically spent in bed. The week is going to be pretty much like every other week.

Nothing breeds faster than Crazy
We really enjoy going there; it was our 4th or 5th time. It's a house built in the 1930s that was turned into the restaurant in the early 1970s. In other words, the decor is a little outdated and fussy. And the building is tucked in amongst strip malls on Chapman Ave. But the food and service is great. We have never had a bad experience.
I know you love wine, so you will like their wine cellar a lot. :-) You can either choose your own bottle from their collection during the champagne & apps portion of the evening, or you can do a wine pairing for each course selected by the sommelier.
If you go to their website you can check out what the entree offering for each week is, which can be helpful for deciding when to make a reservation.

Seriously, how is it Monday already?
Friday night: Ate leftover enchiladas and watched Role Models at our friends' house.
Saturday: Dreadful weight watchers, got my hair done and then hung out at my parents house in the afternoon. We ate dinner at home and then went to the Anaheim Gardenwalk with our friends to walk around. We found a store that is seriously cheaper than Forever 21. I was in heaven.
Sunday: Church and then BIL came over to help DH set up his turtle tank. The ILs stopped by for a bit to drop of our St. Patrick's day gifts (it's sweet of them but what are we, 8?
). The rest of the day we just lounged around. I made BBQ chicken pizza for dinner, that was the highlight of the day.

Sat: Dinner at friends house. MH had a meltdown after drinking way too much. That was fun.
Sun: lounged at home, organized paperwork for the move. Trying to get things in order.

Weekend was low-key, relaxing, and family-free for once.

Shopping twinsies! I'm surprised we didn't run into each other.
Friday: Drove up to Big Bear with H and snowboarded until about 3. Tons o' fun.
Saturday: Gym, Ikea, met up with friends for dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, shopping
Sunday: More shopping, made nommy enchiladas for dinner, then finally saw Gran Torino at the movies. It was great, and surprisingly funny.

Friday: went to the gym after work and had my first Wahoo's fish taco ever! very good!!! did laundry and just hung at home the rest of the evening.
Saturday: Went down to my parents house...had dinner and just hung out..stayed over cause we had to wake up early and be in that area anyway!
Sunday: Did the Coaster Run 5k at Knotts Berry Farm! Then went to Champagne Brunch, a pedi with my mom, bought some cute clothes for our trip to Laughlin on Thursday and hung out and had dinner together. It was a fun filled day!!
