Are you in any way Irish?
Are you doing anything to celebrate St. Patty's day today?
What was your most memorable St. Patrick's day ever?
Re: Today's Question: 3/17
I'm 1/2 Irish-on my Mom's side. We don't really have anything planned today/tonight-just being sure to have something green on b/c otherwise I know I'll get pinched. :-)
My most memorable St Patty's was the year I met DH (even though it was before I met him). The pub/bar we all used to hang out @ in Charlotte had a massive St patty's day-the owner was Irish and so were (in some way-esp on st patty's) most of the clientele. Sunny Ledfurd played, 2 of my gals from college came to town, all in all it was just a great time!!!
I'm Irish, Scottish, and German mostly.
I'm not even wearing green today... YIKES! If I leave the house I'll try to find SOMETHING green to put on.
One year I was in Orlando visiting one of my best friends on St. Patricks day. I had a green beer at Universal Islands of Adventure, and that night we went to City Walk to Pat Obriens.
Another memorable year was my freshman year. We went to a bar that had an Irish sounding band playing. It was a lot of fun to enjoy the concert with the new friends I'd made that first year away!
Not that i know of. I'm Mexican so mostly Native/Spanish/French.
I like to kiss the Irish though
We think my grandpa on my mother's side is part Irish and some Irish ladies I know have commented that I have features resembling the "black Irish" (for my very dark brown hair and pale complexion).
I have an Irish dinner planned for tonight: Reuben sandwiches (cooking away in the slow cooker--it smells soooo good in here!), hot potato salad, and Irish cream bars for dessert.
I don't have any particular memory associated with St. Patty's day. All I remember is that it was "moved" last year by the Pope because it conflicted with Easter, Palm Sunday, holy week or something along those lines...

Are you in any way Irish? Probably a bit.
Are you doing anything to celebrate St. Patty's day today? I wore green today, if that counts.
What was your most memorable St. Patrick's day ever? I really don't have one, I guess when my mom decided to die the milk green, and we refused to drink it.
something like 1/16th irish
i wish, stuck working late & then studying late
2 yrs ago my best friends & i went to a block party in downtown raleigh w/ decked from head to toe in green...nothing worth noting, just a good time w/ great friends
March 2011 moved to WA from Charleston, SC
live in Mill Creek, work in Seattle, DH works in Mt Vernon
I have no idea.
On my mom's side I know that I'm a quarter Italian and a quarter French Canadian.
My dad's side...its really a toss up. My brother definately is though! We have different moms. But he's got the really classic Irish featurs, ski slope nose, red hair and freckles. I think I found out last year that my dad's mom has a little bit. So I'm pretty dilluted if there is any!
No celebration for me...I've been way too busy with school stuff. I didn't wear green today, although I usually do.
