Okay so I work in a dental office. And the receptionist here has a daughter, well every time they are out of school she brings the kid with her. The kid is rude first off. Second she plays on everyone s computer. All of the computers are in use right now so she camer over and wanted to paint on mine, Umm no. Anyway so she can t play on my computer so guess what I find her digging in my purse looking for gum. No I don t have gum and go away! I really feel sorry for the kid for having to be here but goodness. Second off why does the mother feel she can bring the kid to work, we are a dental office. There are no other kids running around, But anyway Vent over I guess I might as well get used to it. She is on Spring Break and will be here all week long. By the way the Dr I work for he does not like the child being here either he just doesn t have the balls to tell her not to bring the child.
Re: work vent
Is there an office manager? If so, she should tell this woman that the office isn't a day care and that when the child is on vacation from school she should make arrangements for day care for the little girl and not bring her to work. It's both distracting and highly unprofessional. I'm afraid I would have come unglued had she played with my computer and gone through my purse. You must have great self-control. LOL
